Its total area is 783,562 square meters, its capital is the city of Ankara, and the Turkish language is the official language of the country, in addition to the secular democratic government system.

•  The Sulaymaniyah Mosque, built by the Ottoman engineer Mimar Sinan on the orders of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent in 1558 AD, is distinguished by its location amidst a cluster of architectural buildings such as schools, shops and baths. 

• Hagia Sophia Museum, located within the Sultanahmet district, and was built in 359 AD. It was an Orthodox church and then became a mosque during the Ottoman era, then became a museum during the Turkish Republic era in 1934 AD, and recently became a mosque again. 

•  The Covered Market, built in 1461 AD. C., is an old covered market that houses clothing, gold and souvenir shops. The Yildiz Saray Palace, which Sultan Selim III ordered to be built in 1790 AD. C. for his mother, Sultan Mahrasha, it is a beautiful and impressive palace that is well worth a visit.

• The Bosphorus Bridge, whose construction was completed in 1973 AD, is one of the two bridges that serve as a link between Asia and Europe, with a width of 39 meters and a length of 1,510 meters.  Visitors and tourists enjoy its view at night by staying in Ortakoy's many cafes and restaurants.
