2. This thermometer came with batteries and was very easy to set up. There is also an object setting that allows you to check the temperature of other items such as milk bottles. It cannot be used to track BBT in the case of TTC, as it can only read up to 10 decimal places (ie 97.2). I don't have kids, but I really wanted a quick forehead thermometer, so this fits my goal. It is not waterproof and has an estimated life of about 3 years. Overall, it is a very great product and I am very happy with it.

It can be used for people and things, and you can easily switch between modes with the push of a button. You don't have to worry about bathwater or bottles being too hot for your baby.
In addition, there are settings for the day and time, and up to 10 temperatures can be recorded. This makes it very easy to keep track of the temperature of a sick child because all the information is at hand.
You can also choose between F and C temperature scales. It also shows a smiley or sulky face depending on the temperature. Less than 100 smiles and upper frowns.
It was so easy that even my 3-year-old could use it under supervision.
The temperature readings are great and large, so you won't have a hard time reading them. That was accurate, too. I tried it on all my kids, myself, and my husband. We all get normal readings. She then compared the readings with an oral thermometer and they were comparable.
The only thing I would change is to add a backlight in case I need to sneak into the room at night to check the temperature.
