We enjoy sitting next to him and touching his soft and delicate fingers, smelling his sweet scent, looking into his eyes and seeing the innocence in them, thus reliving our beautiful childhood memories.  We see the stages of his growth, as he grows with us day by day, so we rejoice when we see him take the first step, and what a wonderful moment it is when the mother sits and whispers to her child, to that he goes to her and cries for her, then she becomes happy and the mother feels that all the tiredness and the nights that she was awake are only gone Minutes in this happy moment and what a wonderful moment when the family listens to the child when he was uttering for the first time and says: “Baba and mama”, and her mother's heart dances with joy, and she feels that her ears have never heard words before, so everyone is happy and smiles are drawn on  family members, but this moment does not come from the absurd, rather it requires an effort from the mother to help her son in his ability to speak, how to help his son to speak and encourage him to speak so that he can express his needs and request them. Everything she wants to get?  Does pronunciation need education and training?

What caught my attention the most in one day was a character from my relatives who whispered to her two-year-old son, so I expressed my astonishment at the matter, and she told me that her son had turned two years old.  and she didn't say any letter, so i took him to the doctor thinking that she was mute, then the doctor told her that her son is fine. The reason for the delay in speaking is that you did not teach or train him to speak. When he was a child, she didn't coax or help him articulate, and he asked her to start coaxing, teaching, and training him. This is where the answer to our previous question comes from, so we saw that pronunciation needs education and training.

Ways and means to teach pronunciation to your child

in the first months

     - Teach the child and get him used to moving his mouth even if no sound comes out of it Sit in front of your child and turn off the television or radio so that he only hears your voice, so the child concentrates on the movement of your  mouth and match it to the sound coming out of the mouth. Repeat the intonation and babbling and try to raise and lower your voice so your child pays attention and doesn't get bored and keep listening. This is one of the signs of the child's development towards learning to speak, and the mother's effort continues without interruption. At this point and without waiting for the child's response, the mother should tell her son a story before going to sleep, even if she does not understand what you are saying, but she will get used to listening to you.

At this stage, I advise you to imitate the sounds of animals in front of your child, since they are sounds that the child loves and seeks to imitate, and it is easy to imitate them, and he should be encouraged to imitate the speech form.  Raising and lowering the pitch of the sound you make, even if it is just one sound, and so your child gradually begins to control the tongue, lips and vocal cords, and also make sure at this stage to talk to your child even if he is not can answer, but can understand many things.  If you want to go out, tell him that you are going out, and let him see you when you go out, also when you enter the kitchen, tell him so, and let him see you when you enter the kitchen.

     At this point, you need to step up your education and training. Singing is very important, as at this stage the child becomes better able to concentrate. When he hears you singing to him, he enjoys, and will try to repeat the words even if he does not pronounce them clearly, but he has the ability to control his tongue, lips and vocal cords.  Singing encourages the child and makes him enjoy, so he repeats the words, so sing to him and ask him to continue until he gets used to the correct pronunciation, and at this stage be sure to repeat the words slowly and clearly and repeat them. .  In front of the child, then ask him to repeat it, you can also call a family member and repeat The herald, soon you will see your child repeating the name and calling this person, the stage that comes after that, you have to try repeating simple sentences until you learn to form words, so when pronouncing sentences make sure the pronunciation is clear.

     You can play with your child by bringing pictures of animals and teaching the name of the animal according to the shape and sound of the animal. When the child is two years old, he begins to form short sentences, most of the sentences he makes are, what is this, where is my mother, where is my toy, and although he is able to pronounce most or all of the words, he cannot pronounce long sentences, because they are more complex.  At this age, it is advisable to take the child on excursions, parks and zoos. At this stage, the child seeks to discover a large group of words and store them with him. In her third year, God willing, she will be able to say everything. Common mistakes when teaching a child

     A mother's conversation with her son is just as wrong. The principle is that the child is the one who imitates her mother, not the other way around. The principle is that the mother instructs her son to know that the error is undesirable, and what increases the risk is that this method may lead to errors in the child's pronunciation later on. 

Teaching the child to say bad words: Be careful to teach the child bad words, whether from home or abroad, since children remember the words and repeat them without distinguishing whether they are obscene or not, and if the child says a bad word , don't do it.  Show him encouragement or tell him that he is just a child, because the morals that a child builds from childhood stays with him until he grows up, so teach him good speech, because speaking is a blessing that we should take advantage of. good intentions. 

Mothers rush and worry about the child's speech delay before he is more than one year old, so there is no need to worry as many children progress slowly in the first stage of speech.  Pronunciation varies from person to person and from setting to setting.
