  •      Apply an appropriate amount of liquid laundry soap to the soiled area. Dish soap can also be used to remove tough stains.
  • Wait at least 3-5 minutes before washing at the highest temperature the fabric can withstand; The hotter the water, the easier it will be to clean oil stains.
  • Make sure the stain is completely gone before drying the item, and repeat the steps above if the stain remains.

     Use baby powder

Baby powder can be used to remove oil stains from clothing by following these steps:

  •      Blot the oil stain with a paper towel.
  •      Coat the stain liberally with baby powder, then gently remove it with a paper towel or spoon. To prevent transfer to other areas of the garment.
  •      Apply a small amount of dishwashing liquid and water with your thumb, then use an old toothbrush to scrub the stain in a circular motion, taking care to clean the stain from both the inside and outside.

Use baking soda or cornstarch
To remove an oil stain with baking soda or cornstarch, sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda or cornstarch onto the oil stain, place a large cloth on the ironing site, and then place the contaminated cloth.  Pass a cloth over the top so that the oil stain is facing down, that is, directly on the clean cloth, then start ironing until the oil disappears and the clean cloth absorbs it.
