Cloud computing is what is known, and the appearance of this term dates back to the 1960s, when some companies began to think about the utility that could be achieved by making computing a service.  A utility that is provided to people over the Internet, and this term refers to the ability for businesses and individuals to access some services, such as storage, databases, software, and various other services over the Internet , and there are many leading cloud services.  providers like Google Cloud Platform in the world. Cloud computing has many types of services that it provides, some companies provide Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) services, and online storage services are provided through this type of cloud service.  Another type of cloud service is software as a service, called as (SaaS) and this type of cloud is concerned with providing various software services over the Internet, and Microsoft Office 365 is one of the popular programs that can be obtained from through (SaaS).

There are many benefits that can be obtained from the use of cloud computing services through the Internet, the most prominent of these benefits and advantages are the following:

  • Cost reduction: It is possible to reduce the purchase of various hardware and software and use cloud computing services instead, which will help reduce purchase, configuration and maintenance expenses. 
  •     Speed: Many things can be done in the cloud very quickly, with the push of a button.
  •     Completion of work: the use of this type of service can eliminate the need to rely on business management software and information technology, since it eliminates the need for a place to store various documents. 
  • Security: Cloud computing services back up the data in them and can work even after natural disasters.

There are many companies that have a large and significant impact in providing cloud computing services over the Internet, and these companies are:

  • Microsoft Corporation: Microsoft provides all the services that can be provided through cloud computing, and in this regard it ranks first in terms of the largest companies in this field. 
  • Amazon: Which is known (in English: Amazon) and is called in short (AWS), and this company has achieved great financial returns in one year, amounting to 16 billion US dollars. 
  •      IBM: Or what is known in English as IBM, since this company transferred its vast experience in the field of software and put it into cloud computing services, and achieved financial returns of $7 billion.
