Will you fast for your new stress? Are you thinking of the "next step"?This book is an interesting series of parables that came from the actual experience of the author's divorce attorney. He reveals the shortcomings and shortcomings of his former clients and reminds us of the often lack of common sense among those who are going through a divorce.
Oddly enough, as you're reading, something else happens that you probably wouldn't expect.
This book peeks into the stupid and saucy details of wrong marriage, some of which are really wrong! In it, Fairmount weaves a series of real-life interest stories, all about what happens when your perfect match becomes an embarrassing and disturbing nightmare.
What you may not be aware of is how well the author has educated you about family law, and how those laws apply to problems that typically arise during divorce proceedings.
Anyway, I read this book for light entertainment (and definitely a voyeur). In the process, I took a lesson on how the legal system for divorced women works. I highly recommend this book. It deserves all five stars.
This is really quick and engaging reading material. Fairmount offers a story centered around divorce scenarios (divorce with custody, unfaithful divorce, divorce by deception, etc.), as well as interesting and relevant introductions relating to each chapter of the topic.
In each case, whether or not a page, paragraph, or chapter of its own is introduced, it is conveyed without fanfare, sensationally, or without an attempt to inspire. Brief, fact-based storytelling gives you a glimpse into the sometimes bizarre and often relevant behavior of those facing one of life's toughest and most stressful actions.
Some stories will make you laugh, some will make you sad. Some people shake their heads. Nobody will own it. This is an amazing book. And I agree with all the other reviewers who have said this is going to be a great TV series. I can't wait to find out which company to steal for production. Come on Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu... This could be your next original series!
