Only a small number of items were purchasable with cryptocurrency, which originally started out as a prank coin. A commemorative belt buckle to celebrate the Gigafactory in Texas cost 835 doges, or about $164.He plans to accept Dogecoin because the payment has been made for a while.This is not the first time Tesla accepted a crypto-curcurity like a year.
