I've had almost chronic constipation for 25-30 years into adulthood. Over the years, I've tried several fiber supplements and at least six different types of probiotics. The probiotics your doctor picks are the first to make a difference. When I first started taking it I didn't notice any difference so I thought it would be like everyone else but in about 7-10 days it made a huge difference.
As I said, I've used many fiber supplements, from the Physalium types to harsh stimulants, including senna. So I swung from very constipated to very loose bowels. I've finally found a more natural fiber supplement that contains only fiber-rich dry foods that help with constipation but still tend to form loose stools. But now that I'm making a doctor's choice probiotics, for the first time in at least 25 years, my stools are normal.
Another thing I noticed. Shortly before I started taking this probiotic, I started waking up at night with heartburn. This probiotic has removed it as well. This is a really great probiotic and I am so thankful to find it!!!
