1. This 3.5-year-old girlfriend has been ordering this since she was 2 years old and we finally gave it up and bought it for her. She was worried that she would be oversized because she was 40 pounds and tall for her age, but it was perfect for her and how big it was for her. I don't know if it's going to be too long.

I was worried about the quality as other reviewers say it's not as strong as the late '70s / early '80s and it doesn't spin, but it's well done and I'm not worried about it so far. .. It can be assembled with a single screw (I'm really worried), but there was a lot of use and abuse in the last week of 3.5 and 1.5 years. I hope it works in the long run. If not, definitely update!

2. This was a big hit for kids who weren't playing with toys. At 2.5, I figured it out within seconds, and it spins fast. I'm not sure about the reviewer who said he remembered the top move when he was a kid. Because it is not. You can watch YouTube videos of kids riding older versions, and the top was never woven. And about it being smaller than they remember ... I think it's a matter of perspective. As you can see in the video, it's the same as it was years ago. We are so big. ;) It fits my 2.5 year old very well (pictured), and even her 8-year-old sibling changed the order (I can see why it's not that size for kids)... it pulls the plastic really hard, and I'm afraid to break it). Overall, this is a great classic game!
